It seems that one side-effect I’ve developed from eating healthier, is I have a stronger desire to grow my own foods or at least have access to them. I’m a big celery guy, and it was bugging me how quickly I was going through it, but always throwing away the base. This got me looking into what plants I could or couldn’t grow or regrow in my kitchen or at my house, from the scraps I had leftover. In my vast internet browsing, I came to this awesome infographic (I’m a sucker for a good infographic) from CustomMade.com that breaks down 19 foods that you can regrow from scraps.
You can check out the full infographic below, or go to their site where they expand on the graphics and explain in a little more detail the steps you take to reuse the scraps you have lying around or throwing away. It’s pretty cool and is an easy way to cut waste and save a little money, which are two things I never turn away from.
