A new Star Wars children’s series was announced during last week’s Star Wars Celebration. The new series; Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will be set during the High Republic era. The High Republic era is a newly-explored era of the galaxy far far away, set around 200 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phanom Menance. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will be the first series to be set during that era, which to this point has only been explored in novels and comics.
The series will follow a group of Younglings (don’t tell Anakin) who are swept into a world of adventure as they being their journies to becoming Jedi. The series will see the Younglings grappling with various topics, including compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship. The series is set to premiere on Disney Junior and Disney+ sometime in the spring of 2023.
