Sesame Street on YouTube: Hundreds of Episodes Start January 2026
Sunny days… now on YouTube.
Sesame Workshop and YouTube just announced an expanded partnership that will make YouTube the largest digital library of Sesame Street content starting January 2026. That means hundreds of classic, full episodes landing on the official Sesame Street channels, with new, YouTube-first originals in the mix, too.
Even cooler: Sesame Workshop will run creator workshops on how to make content that’s fun and actually teaches something (more of that, please). It’s a smart move in a world where a lot of kids meet Ms. Rachel and CoComelon before they meet Big Bird.
If your family’s anything like ours, this is a win. More free, legit Sesame for the little ones, and a chance for us parents to revisit the classics we grew up on—now without sketchy uploads or weird edits.
Meanwhile, new episodes of Sesame Street are still set to debut on Netflix and PBS starting in November, so there’ll be plenty of ways to watch.
