Apple TV+ Debuts Season Two Trailer for Shape Island

Apple TV+ has dropped the trailer for season two of the Emmy Award-winning stop-motion series Shape Island, premiering Friday, August 29, 2025.

Based on the internationally bestselling picture book trilogy by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, the series follows Square, Circle, and Triangle as they dig up fun, solve problems, and build their friendship while learning to navigate their differences. It’s a clever, heartwarming reminder to kids (and parents) that friendship can take many shapes.

  • Harvey Guillén (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) as Square
  • Scott Adsit (Big Hero 6) as Triangle
  • Gideon Adlon (Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths) as Circle

The series was co-created by Barnett and Klassen, who also serve as executive producers. Barnett was recently named National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature by the Library of Congress, while Bix Pix Entertainment’s Kelli Bixler and Drew Hodges (Tumble Leaf) also executive produce.
