Well, I’m not sure if this should be filed under awesome or face-palming, but NASA has officially confirmed that Tom Cruise is in the process of developing a new film that will be set aboard the International Space Station.
So far, there isn’t a studio attached, nor is there a writer or director, so essentially right now this boils down to Cruise running out of ridiculous stunts to do in gravity, and has used his influence and charm to talk NASA into the idea of working together on a film to help “inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists”.
Essentially the headline should read: Tom Cruise seen as ultimate influencer.
This was confirmed by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, so who knows where this is headed. Simply put: story developing.
