The first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is finally here!
After leaks started pouring out last week from merchandise releasing, Marvel has finally decided to release the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, and it’s everything I wanted it to be and more! Similar to James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy (who make an appearance in the trailer) Taika Waititi has his feel for the God of Thunder, and I’m here for it!
The trailer doesn’t really reveal too much plot-wise of the film. It’s mostly of Thor contemplating retirement, shots of him with the aforementioned Guardians, but we do get a glimpse at what I’m assuming will be a Rocky-style training montage and our first look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster calling Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor!
So no shots of Gorr the God Butcher this time around, but we all know it’s coming. For now, enjoy the below poster and view of Might Thor!

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
