During Star Wars Celebration, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment released the first teaser trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and one of the most highly-anticipated Star Wars video games ever.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will continue the adventure of Cal Kestis, who has become such a popular Star Wars character since the 2019 release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, that you can find multiple posts online of people hoping he eventually shows up in one of the live-action Star Wars Disney+ series, including Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The story is said to pick up five years after the events of the first game, which was set five years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, so technically this game will actually be occurring during the same time as Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is. So who knows!
Fallen Order is one of only a handful of games that I’ve actually played in the past few years, but it was on my son’s PS4. With my recent purchase of the Xbox Series X, Fallen Order was one of my first purchases and I plan to revisit this game soon. With this news, that may be happening sooner rather than later! I’m actually excited by this news. (I’m excited about a game, that’s so weird and so 2000s of me)
Experience the next chapter of Cal Kestis’ journey in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor™ – coming in 2023 to the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.
