Spider-Man Meme comes to Life in New 2-Pack Pop Set from FUNKO

by Michael

One of the most recognizable memes out there may be the double Spider-Man that originates from the 1960s cartoon episode ‘Double Identity’.  That animated scene and meme is now being brought to life in plastic thanks to Funko and their newest Entertainment Earth Exclusive.

The Pop in question is a special 2-pack that comes with 2 1960s Spider-Men, with the backdrop from the iconic moment.  The 2-pack is priced at $24.99 and is available for preorder with a June 2020 release date.

  • Twice the Spidey power!
  • Exclusive limited edition Pop! Vinyl figure 2-pack!
  • Based on the popular “Double Identity” Spider-Man moment.
  • You don’t want to miss this one… er, two!

“Entertainment Earth Exclusive! Which Spidey is which? Originally seen in the 1960s Spider-Man cartoon episode entitled “Double Identity,” this webslinger moment became iconic when it joined the ranks of popular memes and was a featured spot in the Academy Award-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Now it swings into the 3D world as an amazing Pop! Vinyl figure set from Funko! This limited edition includes two Spider-Man figures and a background insert. Both Pop! Vinyl figures measure about 3 3/4-inches tall and feature bobbling heads, but if you look closely at their arms and legs you’ll see they have slightly different sculpts/poses! This Spider-Man Imposter Pop! Vinyl Figure 2-Pack – Entertainment Earth Exclusive comes packaged in a window display box, ready for play or proud display. Get yours before they’re all gone!”

Rest assured, I’ve ordered mine!
