Mickey Mouse and his pals are getting into the spirit of Halloween with an enchanting stop-motion special. Disney has provided a sneak peek of the upcoming Mickey & Friends Trick or Treats, a delightful musical holiday special set to premiere on Sunday, October 1st, at 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT. The special will be aired on Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney XD, with streaming availability starting from October 2nd on Disney+. Crafted with original music contributed by Emmy Award-nominated songwriter Beau Black (known for Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard), the special also heralds the reappearance of a beloved Disney character: the mischievous Witch Hazel, accompanied by her lively broomstick Beelzebub, who initially emerged in the 1952 Donald Duck short Trick or Treat.

In the storyline of Mickey & Friends Trick or Treats, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy embrace the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating. As the group stumbles upon an eerie mansion, Donald becomes captivated by its haunting allure and assumes it holds the ultimate treats. Rallying his friends to venture inside, they encounter the mansion’s owner, Witch Hazel. Her spell inadvertently transforms them into their own costumes. A captivating musical sequence is unveiled in the teaser, showcasing the essence of this Mickey Mouse Halloween special. Keep a lookout for special appearances by the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion and the ghoulish skeletons from The Skeleton Dance.
