McDonald’s Boo Buckets are back again this year, with FOUR new designs!
The familiar Halloween pails returned last year, in 2022, for the first time in six years. The return went viral last year as people rushed to their local McDonalds to attempt to collect all 3. This year, McDonald’s is bringing the Halloween Buckets back in four new designs.
McDonald’s will be offering the four Boo Bucket Halloween Happy Meals – an orange skeleton, a white mummy, a green monster, and the iconic purple vampire starting October 17th.
From the official press release:
Let’s be honest… spooky szn isn’t official until Boo Buckets are back at McDonald’s. Starting Oct. 17, fans can get in the Halloween spirit at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide with four new Halloween Happy Meal® designs, including Monster, Skeleton, Mummy, and Vampire (launching for the first time since the OG purple Boo Bucket). They’ll be gone faster than you can say “boo,” so head to your local McDonald’s to get a festive pail while supplies last.
If you’re thinking that these Boo Buckets are the same as the ones you remember from the late 80s and 90s, think again. The new Boo Buckets no longer come with a plastic lid that one can use to keep candy inside. No, the new Boo Buckets comes with a paperboard lid which has stickers.
How to get your hands on a McDonald’s Boo Bucket!
Starting October 17th you can order them by placing a Happy Meal order either in the restaurant or through the app. Happy Meals comes with three different entrée options: hamburger (you can add cheese) and 4-piece or 6-piece Chicken McNuggets meals; each comes with a side of fries or apple slices and a drink.
